Maui Youth and Family Services was established in 1978 by the County of Maui as the Maunaolu Youth Residentail Shelter and incorporated as a private non-profit agency in 1982. By providing a range of behavioral and mental health programs that emphasize prevention, MYFS focuses on developing stronger families and youth who become responsible and contributing members of the community.
