Application Process
- Review latest listing of open positions; call human resources at 808-579-8414, ext. 28, for more information.
- Applicants must meet minimum qualifications of position.
- Office hours for submitting applications are Monday through Friday (8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)
- Applicants must provide:
- Detailed information of work history including company name, mailing address, phone number, dates employed (months & years), job title, list of duties, supervisor, final wages, hours worked per week and reasons for leaving.
- Three (3) references (not a relative, prefer previous employers or co-workers)
- If applicable; required license, certificate, degree.
Employee Benefits
Core benefits for employees working 20 or more hours weekly:
- Holidays Twelve (12) paid holidays each year.
- Paid Time Off (PTO) Based on an 8-hour day, regular full-time will earn PTO at the rate of 1.5 days per month during the first two years of employment ; 2 days per month after two years; 2.25 days per month after five years. Regular part-time employees will earn prorated vacation time.
- Medical Plan Includes vision, prescription drug coverage. Maui Youth and family Services pays a major portion for employee coverage. Family coverage is available at a cost to the employee.
