WHAT WE DO
Building better
lives with Hawaii's families since 1978
Maui Youth and Family Service ’s
mission is to build better lives with Hawaii’s families. Its goal is
to help young men and women to become capable, productive,
independent, community members. MYFS programs and services emphasize
strengthening the family through the continued well being of its
individual members.
MYFS ’s highly collaborative
structure touches upon every aspect of family life in Hawai`i. MYFS
is closely involved with such groups as the Hawaii Youth Services
Network, the Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence and
the Hawaii Substance Abuse Coalition. A group of multidisciplinary
professionals and paraprofessionals dedicated to the advancement and
positive development of our young people

the help and support you have provided to our granddaughter.
She is showing much improvement. The expert guidance by your
staff was the key to the success of her treatment. Their
love and understanding made staying away from home and
accepting the treatment much easier for her. She is
attending high school regularly and by all indications, she
will be graduating and hopefully continue her studies at a
college or university. We look forward to a bright future
